Please join #IdleNoMore Ontario to welcome back our elected MPs as they return to Parliament after another #Harper led Prorogation. Everyone is welcome to INM-Ontario's first choreographed demonstration. The disaster that is affecting our food chain, is the responsibility of each and every person on this beautiful Turtle Island. You can help! Bring your drums, rattles, and/or wear an outfit to represent an animal, bird or bee.
Bees are dying at an unprecedented rate around the world. Without them - life on earth as we know it will end. We are calling on all peoples to help protect the bees.
Canada needs to enact laws NOW to stop the bee deaths.
Some of us will dress up as #bees. First Nations dancers in their colourful regalia will represent the flowers. People will dress as food - corn, lemons, broccoli. Some can dress as animals, birds. Those out of costume will be the humans.
In this choreographed demonstration - Bees will circulate, visiting all the flowers and then die on the steps of Parliament. Then the flowers will die, then the food, the animals and finally the remaining humans.
It will be a powerful day to illustrate the loss of bees and the outcomes all living things will experience - if we do not protect the pollinators.
To complement this demonstration invited presenters will speak with knowledge about bees, animals and birds, pesticides, legislation and #beeodiversity.
Please help us save the bees in Canada.
