Vigil & March/Rally @ Super Bowl XLIX, Super Bowl 49 - In Solidarity for the Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women

Join a coalition of organizations, grassroots groups, and volunteers as we remember and honor the missing and murdered Indigenous women throughout Canada and the U.S.
Join efforts to bring awareness to the high rates of violence against Indigenous women and the connection to stereotyping, which the NFL has failed to address of their member teams (e.g. Washington team, Kansas City).

Check out the Facebook Event Page for more info.

This vigil and march/rally is specifically about:
*the NFL's anti-Native policies that allow a racial slur #Redskins as a team nickname and other Native mascotry [Redface, clowning, and abuse of peaceful Native protesters at NFL stadiums] &
*failed NFL policies towards players who commit Domestic and Family Violence.

You can show support from your phone, desktop computer, or tablet by posting a FB status, tweeting, or sharing a picture on Instagram (or other social media platforms) about this event, or reposting/retweeting posts from others.

By keeping the issues that Native American communities face in the media it becomes harder for the NFL leadership, Washington Team executives, policy makers, politicians, and the general public to ignore the voices of Native Americans, regardless of the issue.
