Protect our Mother Earth Flash Mob Round Dance

We are doing a flash mob round dance at 11:30AM in the atrium (4th floor Unicenter) of Carleton University which stands on unceeded Algonquin territory! We do this because our Mi'kmaq family and friends of El'sipogtog New Brunswick are being brutally assaulted for their efforts to do that which is right by protecting the environment, the Mi'kmaq people and their allies have been pepper sprayed, arrested in the dozens, beaten by RCMP and police and now it appears as if only non-indigenous people are being allowed free passage across border lines or near the site of protest. Enough is enough. No longer will we stand by while the government pushes us around and hurts us just to achieve their goals of greed! There will be petitions and a fundraiser for those currently fighting in NB at the same time as the flash mob. Friendly media is welcome, please share with everyone, lets have as many people as possible involved and lets ensure that the government will no longer be able to let things like this go away without justice!

Here is some info on what is happening:

If you want to help with the event with things such as distributing flyers, making banners and picket signs, asking people to sign the petition and in printing of those materials etc would be appreciated, please contact the Host of the event, Gabrielle Castilloux, to get more info and to sign up for volunteering! Meegwetch! Welalin! Thanks! Merci!
