Ya' at' eeh,
I'm Michael from the Dine (Navajo) Nation and I live in Tucson AZ. Here in Tucson on December 8th, 2013 at sunrise (6:00am) to sundown (5:00pm) with the blessing of the original people of this land, the Tohono O'odham there will be an event called Danza De Tonantzin. This ceremony is held by the Mexica (Aztec) Nation in which on this day dancers and people come together and honor our Mother Earth (Tonantzin). We call ALL Nations to come unite with us and give your offering through dance, songs, music, poems, spoken word, or even simply educating the people about the issues we as Native people face. In this way we honor our Mother Earth through our culture and through educating the people about preserving and being the keepers of our land. On this all day ceremony we call for the healing of our Mother Earth (Tonantzin) so come show your support. Idle No More!
People are also welcomed to come table and distribute related information, Ahehee'
