Menahkwesk/Saint John Vigil for Colten Boushie

Boushie was a 22-year-old from Red Pheasant Cree Nation in Saskatchewan. In August 2016, Colten was shot and killed on a farm while out for a drive with his friends.

On Feburary 9th, an all-white jury and judge ruled that Gerald Stanley was acquitted of all charges.

In honor of the late Colten (Coco) Boushie, we will gather in Menahkwesk/Saint John, New Brunswick on Saturday, February 17th to show solidarity and support for the Boushie and Baptiste family. We are meeting at 3:00 pm on the steps of City Hall at the bottom of King Street.

Bring drums and signs.
