Laurel Hayden, Center on Rights Development, Associate Director

The Center on Rights Development will be hosting its 16th annual symposium from April 7th-10th, 2015 titled "Sovereign and Sacred: Indigenous Rights and Environmental Justice". We will be embarking on a variety of events and discussions regarding Environmental Refugees, Resources & Land Rights, Native American Sacred Sites, and Indigenous Self-Determination. We are excited to bring a wide variety of speakers and topics to the University of Denver, Josef Korbel School of International Studies campus and spark discussion about the pressing issue and intersection of Environmental justice and human rights.
