Hamilton: Justice for Colten

FACEBOOK EVENT: https://www.facebook.com/events/152590428789335/

Colten Boushie was a 22-year-old from Red Pheasant Cree Nation in Saskatchewan. In August 2016, Colten was shot and killed on a farm while out for a drive with his friends.

On Feburary 9th, a judge and jury ruled that Gerald Stanley was acquitted of all charges.

In honor of the late Colten (Coco) Boushie, we are calling for a day of action to show solidarity and support for the Boushie and Baptiste family. We will gather and hold a vigil at City Hall this Thursday.

Bring your drums, signs, candles, and voice Thursday at 4pm. We demand justice for Colten Boushie!

Connections to indigenous communities and organizations are in the works; Indigenous speakers and singers please be in touch.
