Southern donations to the North to combat food insecurity is band aid solution. Requires systematic changes says local Inuit activist

As the issues of food insecurity in the northern regions of Canada has caught the attention of the south, donations are flooding in to support local people to ease their high cost of living. However, local Inuit activist and Feeding Our Families organizer, Leesee Papatsie, states that it is nothing more than a band aid solution to a much larger and deeper problem that requires action from the government.
