Commemorate our Missing and Murdered Indigenous Sisters.

Idle No More strongly supports this event.

Join us February 14th in the front community room of Atlohsa (343 Richmond St.) to commemorate and demand justice for our Missing and Murdered Indigenous Sisters.

This annual day of action aims to not only honour the memories of these Women and Girls, but also to raise awareness and demand support for the actions of families and communities. This is an opportunity to come together, celebrate the valued lives of Indigenous Women, and grieve the loss of our beloved missing and murdered Sisters. Women face physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual violence on a daily basis. Violence against Women is, and always will be unacceptable. We must continue to honour and work for justice for our murdered and missing Sisters.

4pm - Welcoming with Naahii Singers
5pm - Teachings on Women's Roles
6pm - Dinner
7pm - Moon Ceremony with Elva Jamieson

Everyone is welcome!

Please remember to bring your tobacco and water, and wear a skirt for the moon ceremony.
