Resurgence
1. A continuing after interruption; a renewal.
2. A restoration to use, acceptance, activity, or vigor; a revival.

” By asking “How will your ancestors and future generations recognize you as Indigenous?” I offer a challenge for us to begin re-envisioning and practicing everyday acts of resurgence.” – Jeff Corntassel,  http://decolonization.org/index.php/des/article/view/18627

So…What stories will you share today? What word will you teach your children in your language? Who will you go hunting with and who will you share it with?

The first story I share with my children, will be in my words..the story of the community that shared their fire and why your Daddy has a jar of ash from his healing lodge. Thank you so very much for two things, first the moment of personal reflection when I realized that I need to approach this in an organized manner and involve my family, and two, for the story that will be added to my story bag and taken to anyone that will listen to it. There is a very powerful lesson there. Love and respect, Ian
