International Human Rights Body Supports Indigenous Treaty Movement in Canada

December 5, 2012….Traditional territory of the Algonquin Peoples (Ottawa, Ontario)…the United Nations have been informed of the actions of Canada against the Indigenous Nations and issued a statement.
” Know and Make Known my Committee and myself in particular applaud and please go ahead… your Nations shall overcome, ” said Dr. Noreddine Amir, Vice President of Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD).

This statement comes on the heels of a rally that occurred yesterday at the Canadian Parliament building.
