Join us alongside many communities across Turtle Island on February 14 to honor our life givers and raise awareness of the ongoing epidemic of missing and murdered Indigenous women.
We will meet at the Minneapolis American Indian Center at 11:00 water ceremony at 11:30 followed by a memorial walk at noon, ending at the 2015 TANNER ALBERS ROUND DANCE MEMORIAL with an honor song in recognition of missing and murdered Indigenous women across Canada and the US. Please wear red and bring shawls!
Please bring hand drums. We will sing the Women's Warrior Song (from the St'at'imc Nation of Interior British Columbia, Canada) throughout the duration of the march in solidarity with our relatives across Turtle Island.
